PNY Technologies, mediante il comunicato stampa che pubblichiamo di seguito, ha recentemente annunciato la realizzazione - e simultaneamente commercializzato al prezzo di $169.99 - un nuovo disco rigido in tecnologia flash, compatibile con la connettività progettata in accordo allo standard USB 2.0. Il nuovo prodotto (cfr. foto seguente), che appartiene alla linea MaxFile Attaché, rende disponibile all'utente una capacità di memorizzazione pari a 12Gb, pur avendo un ingombro fisico non molto dissimile da quello di un comune pen drive, e una velocità di trasferimento dei dati, dichiarata dal costruttore, pari a 11MB/s sia in lettura che in scrittura.
Il bundle include il software a corredo Migo, che consente la sincronizzazione delle informazioni presenti sul drive con le corrispondenti che risiedono su pc come documenti, e-mail, impostazioni dell'OS (questa tecnologia, di non recentissima progettazione, si chiama U3, ndr).
