OCZ Technology Group ha annunciato, mediante il comunicato stampa allegato di seguito, la realizzazione del kit di memoria RAM DDR2-800 per configurazioni dual-channel siglato PC2-6400 Gold Edition 4GB (cfr. foto seguente).
La nuova soluzione di OCZ è composta da 2 banchi di memoria, ciascuno dei quali ha una capacità di memorizzazione pari a 2Gb ed è in grado di operare a 2.0V con timing 5-5-5.
Il costruttore ha presentato con enfasi il kit, esaltandone le doti di compatibilità e overcloccabilità in contrapposizione alle configurazioni che rendono disponibili 4Gb di RAM mediante il ricorso a 4 moduli separati. I moduli, che assicurano una stabilità operativa ottimale in virtù della dotazione della tecnologia XTC (Xtreme Thermal Convection) che ottimizza la fase di dissipazione termica, saranno commercializzati anche singolarmente, offrendo la possibilità di upgrade a step di 2Gb.
