Chemtable Software has released the final version of the utility for maintenance and optimization of the system registry, Reg Organizer 5.0. The software runs under 32- and 64-bit versions of Microsoft Windows OS (starting with Windows XP all the way to Windows 7).
In addition to support for the new operating system, Reg Organizer offers many other improvements and new features, which make the application easier, more convenient, and more efficient than ever before.
On the first launch, Reg Organizer 5 runs an express check of the main parts of the system to detect problems. This lets the user assess the current state of the operating system and make a decision, without having to run a full scan, which takes more time than an express check.
All automatic cleanup features, both registry and disk cleanup, are now available through convenient step-by-step wizards, which help users to perform automatic cleanup easily, quickly, and without any difficulties. Beginners will find this tool especially valuable as it can help them to optimize the system quickly and with little effort.
The new system registry editor has undergone considerable improvements. Now it offers a new ability to create and edit .reg files. Each editable .reg file is now displayed on a separate tab, and you can add any registry key to a .reg file with a few mouse clicks. Also, the Favorites feature has been changed to let the user add not only keys but also values to Favorites.
The manual registry cleanup has been updated too. Users will discover more tabs with objects and will be able to filter list items quickly and group them by various criteria, among other features. You can, for example, choose to group items by erroneous records. The program will then find all erroneous records automatically and show them in a separate group.
