First, we would like to announce something that will come in the next month or so. We are currently working hard with a completely new version of WIPE. All codes were rewritten again to provide more stability, security and perfomance. First results are very impressive (comparing to the current version). We will provide you more information in November, when the beta version will be ready for release.
In today's update we have few changes. The most important is that we have added old, almost forgotten, but very interesting function to our app - creating restore point before cleanup. This function was in previous versions of our app, but was removed for a while. Today we have put it back online.
NEW FEATURES AND IMPROVEMENTS
- Added new function - create Windows OS restore point before cleanup. This is additional layer of security to prevent unexpected changes by the cleaning process. Our app will use Windows OS function and create system restore point, and if (should not be), but IF something goes wrong you can roll back your Windows OS to previous state. You can access this function in the settings area. It requires a little bit of configuration, click the link to enable it.
- Changed location of link "My interesting stats", it is now in the Settings area, not on the main screen.
- Removed reminder for "My interesting stats" service, which disturbs you once per month. We are going to suspend this service soon and completely re-design it till the end of this year.
