Con il comunicato stampa di seguito allegato, Plextor ha annunciato il player esterno di supporti Blu-ray siglato PX-B120U. La device, presentata in esclusiva al recente Computex di Taipei, in Taiwan, è stata immessa nel mercato europeo.
Il drive è caratterizzato da un'interfaccia verso il mondo di tipo USB 2.0; è in grado di leggere i dischi in formato BD-R/RE SL, BD-R/RE DL e BD-ROM con una velocità massima pari a 4x, quelli in formato DVD+ /- R, DVD +/-RW, DVD +/- R DL e DVD-RAM con velicità massima di 8x e i CDROM a 24x.
Il Blu-ray reader PX-B120U non necessita di alimentazione aggiuntiva; il suo MSRP in Europa è pari a €109.

The PX-B120U falls under Plextors ‘Fast Warranty Service’, which implies 2 year onsite warranty in the EU, Norway and Switzerland (and 1 year carry-in in other countries).
