Con il comunicato stampa di seguito allegato, A-DATA Technology ha annunciato N002, il primo flash drive al mondo definibile "combo" dal punto di vista della possibilità di collegamento con gli host, essendo dotato di una porta SATA II e di una porta USB 3.0.

In accordo al produttore, N002, avvalendosi della compatibilità con il nuovo standard per USB, qualora sia connesso ad un host USB 3.0 Ready, è in grado di garantire velocità di transferimento dei dati che possono raggiungere 200MB/s e 170MB/s in fase di lettura e di scrittura sequenziale rispettivamente, surclassando quindi le soluzioni USB 2.0 compliant.

N002, che è naturalmente retrocompatibile con gli host USB 2.0, sarà commercializzato nel corso del prossimo mese di Gennaio: le varianti disponibili saranno tre e si differenzieranno in funzione della capacità di memorizzazione, pari a 64GB, 128GB e 256GB nei tre casi.
