Spyware Doctor with AntiVirus – Spyware Doctor customers can now get a free optional upgrade to get our powerful AV engine fully integrated into Spyware Doctor. You don’t need to pay any extra to get full comprehensive anti-malware protection, plus AV works with all our scanners and guards. So if you receive an email it’s checked for both Spyware and Viruses, or if you do an Intelli-scan we check for both as well. (We made it optional as we know some people only want SD for its award-winning anti-spyware protection and want to mix and match it with other security solutions.)
Incremental updates and a new database format – this means you will have smaller database definition downloads, faster program loading and on-the-fly database updates. We also have optional automatic silent updates that require no user intervention, and most updates can happen live without a restart of Spyware Doctor or the operating system.
Intelli-scan – anti-virus and anti-spyware scans are taking so long these days that some people just won’t run full scan anymore. That’s why we came up with Intelli-scan, it is designed to detect active spyware, using our patent-pending spider-scan approach, in a matter of minutes. You can still run a full scan to detect those inactive and hard to find threats, but for everyday use Intelli-scan is fast and effective.

New and Updates Guards – now included Email Guard to scan incoming and outgoing emails, File Guard to scan files in real-time as they are used.
