Based on latest SFFT alpha core, new Amigamerlin 3.1 R10 driver kit will be on line in the nexth days.
This new release will allow 3dfx VSA-100 cards ( Voodoo4 4500, Voodoo5 5500 and Voodoo5 6000) setup on Microsoft Windows 2000 and XP environments.
Main Feature
Amigamerlin 3.1 R10 won't add better compatibility with current and/or recent games: so, for example, your Doom3 will run by your Voodoo5 system at low graphic details only, using AM 3.1 R10 too. This is due to card hardware limits: software updates, of course, cannot solve hardware design lacks.
But Amigamerlin 3.1 R10 will guarantee unthinkable performaces with all sufficiently supported game, like NFSU, Call of Duty or Medal of Honor series, using 1.5Ghz or above cpus, while stability gain will be important for all hardware configurations.
