Con il comunicato stampa di seguito allegato, Asus ha annunciato ufficialmente la motherboard ASUS ROG Maximus II Formula (cfr. la foto seguente). Si tratta di un prodotto che, in accordo alla denominazione, è parte della linea ad alte prestazioni Republic of Gamers (ROG) del maker taiwanense ed è dunque indirizzato ai giocatori che cercano la migliore esperienza possibile in ambito 3D Gaming, senza rinunciare però alla stabilità operativa.
La nuova ASUS ROG Maximus II Formula è basata sul chip-set P45 di Intel, che ne rende possible l'impiego con i processori dell'architettura Core di Intel su DDR2, ed ha una dotazione molto ricca, che include la scheda audio SupremeFX X-Fi di Creative.
