Elitegroup Computer Systems (ECS) ha commercializzato nei giorni scorsi una nuova motherboard per sistemi che utilizzano i processori Intel Core 2 Duo con FSB a 1066MHz: si tratta della NFORCE 570 SLIT-A (cfr. foto seguente) che conserva, tuttavia, la compatibilità con le cpu di classe Pentium in versione Extreme Edition.
Dotata di supporto per la tecnologia NVIDIA SLI, la NFORCE 570 SLIT-A può controllare fino a 16Gb di memoria RAM DDR2 a 667MHz in configurazione dual-channel. Sono due gli slot PCI-E x16 di cui è dotata e 4 i connettori per le periferiche SATA II (impostabili in RAID 0,1,0+1 e 5). La connettività alla rete è implementata in tecnologia Gigabit LAN.
