BIOSTAR ha annunciato ufficialmente la motherboard Racing Z270GT9, una soluzione high-end basata sul chipset Intel Z270 di Intel e dotata di supporto per i nuovi processori LGA1151 Kaby Lake di Intel, o Core di settima generazione, elettricamente compatibili con il socket LGA1151.
La motherbord Racing Z270GT9 di BIOSTAR include anche quattro slot per memora RAM DDR4 (il controller può gestire fino a 64GB di DDR4 a 3600MHz), sei slot PCI Express 3.0 x16 (elettricamente funzionanti come x16, x8, x4, x4, x4 e x4), un controller Ethernet 10Gb Intel X550AT, un sottosistema audio Realtek ALC1220 a otto canali, sei porte SATA 6Gbps, uno slot M.2 a 32Gbps, due porte USB 3.1 (Type A e C), sei porte USB 3.0 e quattro USB 2.0.
Per un tempo limitato BIOSTAR ha incluso nel bundle della scheda madre Racing Z270GT anche un drive SSD M.2 600p di Intel e un account premium per il game World of Tanks.
