Disney Italia annuncia la disponibilità del nuovo content pack scaricabile "The Nightmare Before Christmas" per Disney Universe in esclusiva sulle piattaforme di entertainment online PlayStation Network e Xbox LIVE.

Ispirato al lungometraggio di successo di Tim Burton, che presenta una spettrale realtà onirica in cui tenebrosi personaggi si muovono alla ricerca dello spirito natalizio, l’ambiente "The Nightmare Before Christmas" di Disney Universe permette ai giocatori di vivere in prima persona le affascinanti atmosfere della Città di Halloween. Nei panni di Jack Skeletron, di Sally, del Bau Bau, del Dottor Finklestein e del Sindaco del Paese di Halloween, è possibile attraversare i luoghi tipici del film illuminando il cammino con speciali lanterne a forma di zucca, evitando gli attacchi dei nemici - sferrati con petardi natalizi - e trasformando le lapidi in doni di Natale.

Per portare a termine le missioni, si possono utilizzare le pozioni contenute nelle ampolle di Natale che aiutano a evitare le nebbie pericolose con l'obiettivo finale di sconfiggere il perfido Bau Bau. Disney Universe, disponibile per Microsoft Xbox 360, PlayStation3, Nintendo Wii e PC Windows, propone un'esperienza multiplayer per un massimo di quattro persone con una trama frenetica che sarà apprezzata da giocatori di ogni età.

Il nuovo ambiente "The Nightmare Before Christmas" si aggiunge agli altri mondi già disponibili per Disney Universe, ispirati a famosi successi come WALL•E e Monsters & Co. di Disney•Pixar, Alice in Wonderland di Tim Burton, Pirati dei Caraibi e i premi Oscar Il Re Leone e Aladdin. Disney Universe offre la possibilità di assumere il ruolo di 45 personaggi classici e moderni, ispirati, per esempio, a Sam Flynn, Quorra e Clu (TRON), Baloo (Il Libro della Giungla), Ariel (La Sirenetta), Sulley (Monsters & Co.), Nemo (Alla Ricerca di Nemo) e Trilli (Peter Pan). Il titolo comprende dozzine di altri conosciutissimi personaggi Disney, inclusi Topolino, Minnie, Pippo e Paperino.

Gamers will be "Making Christmas" with the release of"The Nightmare Before Christmas" level downloadable content pack, available today for Disney Universe . The new content is currently available for the PlayStationNetwork and Xbox LIVE online entertainment network.

Inspired by Tim Burton’s iconic film about the residents of a spooky dream land and their quest for a bit of holiday spirit,"The Nightmare Before Christmas" level in Disney Universe allows players to experience Halloween Town firsthand. Gamers will be able suit up as Jack Skellington, Sally, Oogie Boogie, Doctor Finklestein and the Mayor of Halloween Town as they journey through various spooky settings, lighting the way with special pumpkin lanterns, avoiding enemy attacks from Christmas crackers and transforming tombstones into Christmas presents. They’ll also use potions from Christmas vials to finish missions while keeping clear of hazardous fog, all in an effort to defeat the evil Oogie Boogie.

Now available for the Wii system from Nintendo, Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system and Windows PC, Disney Universe offers a four-person multiplayer action experience, with frenzied gameplay that appeals to players of all ages."The Nightmare Before Christmas" level joins other great Disney Universe environments, such as the Disney•Pixar hits WALL•E and Monsters, Inc., Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland, Pirates of the Caribbean, and the Academy Award winning classics, The Lion King and Aladdin. The game features 45 classic and contemporary iconic character costumes, including ones inspired by Sam Flynn, Quorra and Clu ( TRON), Baloo ( The Jungle Book), Ariel ( The Little Mermaid), Sulley ( Monsters, Inc.), Nemo ( Finding Nemo) and everyone’s favorite Pixie, Tinker Bell ( Peter Pan). Dozens of other character costumes are also featured in the game, including Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Goofy and Donald Duck.

Disney Universe will continue to expand with new content, including worlds, costumes, and more available for download, giving Xbox 360 and PlayStation3 system owners an ever-evolving gameplay experience.
