Transcend ha annunciato la commercializzazione del disco rigido portatile StoreJet 25D2-W, una soluzione pensata per l'impiego in abbinamento ai sistemi Mac di Apple, e in particolare ai MacBook, iMac e MacBook Mini.

Lo StoreJet 25D2-W, che vanta infatti il logo "Compatible with Mac OS X", è al momento disponibile con capacità di 500GB; fanno parte del suo bundle numerosi software, tra cui quello di cifratura AES a 256-bit, l'applicativo proprietario "StoreJet Elite" finalizzato alla esecuzione di backup "intelligenti" (questo HDD lavora benissimo anche con Mac OSX Time Machine, ndr) e diversi tool per Internet e il Web browsing.
