Kingmax ha annunciato la realizzazione dei moduli di memoria RAM denominati Long-DIMM DDRIII 2400 Dual-Channel. Si tratta di DDR3 a 240-pin capaci di operare a 2400MHz con cas latency pari a 10 e polarizzabili con una tensione che varia nel range 1.5V ~ 1.8V: i moduli sono organizzati in kit da 2 x 2GB al fine di permettere l'equipaggiamento delle motherboard dual-channel (il produttore cita espressamente il chipset Intel P55).
La feature più rilevante delle Long-DIMM DDRIII 2400 Dual-Channel è tuttavia il supporto della tecnologia proprietaria Nano Thermal Dissipation Technology mediante la quale è possibile realizzare DIMM prive di un cooler di tipo tradizionale (heat sink).
