ViewSonic ha lanciato il monitor a risparmio energetico VX2250wm-LED, una soluzione Full HD da 22-inch che, in accordo alla denominazione commerciale, è basata sulla tecnologia LED, o meglio sulla implementazione proprietaria della stessa, definita dal marketing ViewLED.

In accordo al produttore, il nuovo VX2250wm-LED, che rispecchia lo slogan "Go LED. Go Green!", consuma fino al 40% rispetto a un display tradizionale avente dimensioni analoghe. Tra le altre feature in primi piano, segnaliamo la risoluzione nativa di 1920 x 1080 pixel, il tempo di risposta di 5ms, la luminosità di 250 cd/m² e il rapporto di contrasto di 1.000:1.

VX2250wm-LED è dotato di ingressi DVI e D-Sub; è già prenotabile on line presso i principali store internazionali. Il suo arrivo sul mercato è atteso per la fine del mese.
