Con il comunicato stampa di seguito allegato, Albatron Technology ha lanciato il nuovo Albatron Optical Touch Monitor (OTM), un display multi-touch avente una diagonale di ben 42 pollici. In accordo al produttore, il suo OTM, che utilizza una camera in grado di tracciare il movimento sul pannello, è più sensibile, più accurrato ed affidabile dei prodotti tradizionali.

La tempistica della presentazione di Albatron coincide non a caso con i giorni del lancio di Windows 7, che sappiamo essere un ambiente dotato di funzionalità avanzate per il supporto delle device di output di tipo multi-touch.

Albatron dichiara per questo monitor una risoluzione nativa pari a 1920x1080 pixel, un formato di 16:09, un valore massimo della luminosità pari a 700cd, un rapporto di contrasto pari a 1000:1, un angolo visivo di 89° ed un tempo di risposta di 9ms.
