Con il comunicato stampa allegato di seguito, SPARKLE Computer ha reso noto di aver realizzato due nuove linee di schede grafiche basate sui processori grafici GeForce 8500 GT (clock del core a 450MHz) e GeForce 8600 GT (clock del core a 540MHz) ed equipaggiate con 1Gb di RAM in tecnologia G-DDR2.

I nuovi prodotti hanno i seguenti model number: SF-PX85GT1024U2-HP, SF-PX85GT1024U2-HM, SF-PX85GT1024U2-HP Passive, SF-PX85GT1024U2-HM Passive, SF-PX86GT1024U2-HP, SF-PX86GT1024U2-HM, SF-PX86GT1024U2-HP Passive e SF-PX86GT1024U2-HM Passive; differiscono essenzialmente per il sistema di raffreddamento utilizzato e per la dotazione del bundle.

In accordo a Sparkle, dotare di 1Gb di memoria video delle soluzioni grafiche di livello mainstream è una scelta finalizzata a permettere l'esecuzione ottimale dei moderni game con engine DirectX 10 anche con i controller grafici di fascia media.
