Kingston Digital ha annunciato la nuova linea di drive a stato solido, o SSD, denominata SSDNow V200 (cfr. la foto seguente) e orientata al segmento entry-level del mercato consumer. In accordo al produttore, i nuovi drive sono particolarmente indicati per incrementare le prestazioni dei personal computer con costi di upgrade ridotti.
Caratterizzati da una interfaccia verso il mondo di tipo SATA 3.0 (o anche SATA 6Gb/s) e disponibili con capacità di memorizzazione pari a 64GB, 128GB e 256GB, i nuovi SSDNow V200 garantiscono prestazioni superiori (in alcuni casi pari al doppio) rispetto a quelle dei prodotti appartenenti alla precedente famiglia V100. Rispetto agli SSD appartenenti a quest'ultima linea, i nuovi SSDNow V200 costano fino al 20% in meno, a parità di capacità.
